ABOUT FRUIT AND VEGETABLE NUTRIENTS

The highest plant nutritional content is found in vine ripened, freshly harvested fruits and vegetables that are harvested and eaten IMMEDIATELY; Vine ripened fruits contain 120 times MORE nutritional value compared to prematurely harvested foods that have been harvested GREEN, and then allowed to ripen.

During harvesting of fruits and vegetables, there is an 80% deterioration of some metabolic enzymes during the first 10-15 minutes.

Nutritionally speaking, the problem with current plant harvesting, distribution and storage methods is that significant deterioration occurs, thus, lowering nutritional values. The Nutrient Stabilization Process (N.S.P.) applied at harvest stabilizes taste, nutrients and enzymes for decades at nutrient values of 97%.

ABOUT INDUSTRIAL FOOD PRESERVATION

The basic premise of food preservation is to delay its deterioration or degradation by minimizing or eliminating microbial activity while maintaining nutrients and enzyme activity. Traditionally, this is done through refrigeration, canning, vacuum packing, adding preserving chemicals, freeze-drying and dehydration.

ALL of the above mentioned methods reduce taste, the original nutritional values by up to 60% and some enzymes by up to 80%. These food processing methods result in foods with low availability of nutrients and thus, end up being more costly on a nutrient value / month basis than Super Dense Nutrition.

EATING TOO MUCH "DEAD FOOD"?

Unfortunately for post-fire humans, we have discovered how to cook our food! From a nutritional standpoint, this was a great disaster.

There are over 4,000 digestive and metabolic enzymes necessary for a body to function and most are present in raw uncooked food. Plant food enzymes are phyto enzymes (phyto = plant) and are “outside-created” enzymes versus those created in the body (“inside-created”).

HOW ARE MILLED SPROUTED GRAINS MORE BENEFICIAL THAN NON-SPROUTED?

-
Increased Vitamin C (sprouting produces vitamin C);
-
Increased Vitamin B (B2. B5 and B6); sprouted grain contains up to three times the niacin and two times the B6 and Folate as non-sprouted grain;
-
Increased Carotene (eight times the amount of non-sprouted flour);
-
Increased enzymes (sprouting is necessary to break down the long chain carbohydrates and starches to simple sugars;
-
Reduced or neutralized phytic acid (a substance present in grains which inhibit nutrient absorption);
-
Easier to digest (breaking down carbohydrate and starch molecules into simple amino acid protein molecules);
-
Chemical change of gluten by glucanase to a digestible state.

HUMAN DIGESTIVE SYSTEM AND SEEDS

The human digestive system is very inefficient and can only digest 5% of non-germinated, whole seed material. The compounding problem is that the intestine of humans starts to die after the age of 25 years. Cattle, having the most complex type of digestive system, are only able to digest 53% of grains provided that the seeds have been rolled, crushed and have had digestive enzymes added. If synchronized germinated, G.E.M. and N.S.P. processed grains are fed, digestibility increases up to 97% for ALL animals and humans without enzymes added.

In short, synchronization and correct handling of germinated seed increases digestibility.
HYDRATION FROM WATER - ENERGIZED WATER
A very basic aspect affecting your longevity and quality of life is staying well-hydrated with pure water. And there's a big difference between good hydration and simple irrigation. (Read more in Living Water and Death Rides a Slow Bus).
Pure, natural, unpolluted spring water is energized water (living, restructured or cluster size reduced) and has its molecules returned to their original life-giving, super moisturizing state. This allows maximum moisture absorption into the cells of your body, pets and plants; a major key to healing, and the maintenance of health and vitality.
Since most of us have mediocre water quality from commercial water producers or municipal services, we need to return tap water to its original, hydrating, life-giving state.
Water is the medium of life on this planet and a universal solvent. Every living process on Earth started in the primordial oceans, the amniotic fluid of life. Even your blood resembles sea water very closely.
Next to oxygen, water is very important. We can go without water for a maximum of 5 days. We lose about 2 quarts of water every day (sweat, urine, tears, breathing, etc.) and we feel either thirst or pain when the balance is out by only 1-2 percent. If we lose 5% of total water volume, we suffer hallucinations. A loss of 15% is usually fatal.
NUTRITION FROM FOOD

Another basic aspect affecting longevity and quality of life is the total nutrition or energy one receives from all food and supplements. Superior nutrients and energy are received from eating live foods like the BarleyGold, LignanGold, BarleyGold Pre-probiotics. Nutrient rich foods are organic, vine ripened, harvested and eaten immediately or are lightly cooked.
Most degenerative diseases take years of poor nutrition and lifestyle to develop. These problems are like the proverbial iceberg - most of the problem is hidden from view, below the water line. The disease symptoms we see are just the tip.
Good nutrition is becoming harder to attain. Our foods are grown in fields that are improperly managed, they are picked green, and stored in refrigeration for long periods. Super Dense food helps make up the difference.
Beyond Organic produce is better for Our Health, Our Home and Our Planet but in order to produce nutrient rich fruits, vegetables and grains without toxic herbicides and pesticides, growers must nurture their soil with Beyond Organic methods. Obviously good news, for the soil and for us, healthy soil produces Nutrient Dense food with the INSTAGrowth products!
These days it is not possible to remain healthy while eating foods sold in grocery stores, regardless of what the mainstream advertisers say. Additionally, the RDA (Recommended Dietary Allowance) system is calibrated to suppress visible symptoms, not promote optimal health. Referencing again the iceberg metaphor, symptoms of ill health are just the tip of the problem.
Just as some foods are better than others, so are some supplements. Not all supplements are created equal. We produce "best-in-class" products, focusing on quality. Most supplements and meal replacement drinks advertised don't nourish nearly as well as the ads would have you believe. They fill you, but they don't rebuild you.
There's so much more to optimal nutrition than Superfoods and whole foods - like supplemental vitamins, minerals (major & trace), enzymes, essential fatty acids, antioxidants and amino acids. They all have an important place in a wellness program. Depending on your state of health, customization of a nutritional supplementation program may be necessary. Talk to a holistic nutritional consultant to best help adjust and renew your health program.

NUTRITIONAL DOWNFALL OF THE MODERN DIET

The standard modern diet is fraught with many woes and pitfalls. How did things go so wrong? Simply, our bodies are just not getting the levels of nutrients they require due to:

-
Green harvesting and deterioration of nutrients in storage and distribution;
-
Cooking, including microwaving, which depletes foods of nutrients (especially enzymes). Today’s diet is over-reliant on cooked foods, pre-cooked meals, processed food and fast foods versus raw fruits and vegetables;
-
Over refining and processing of foods that strips food of nutrients;
-
Inadequate balanced diets, e.g., too much fast foods, bad diets;
-
Over-consumption of highly refined sugars;
-
Over consumption of highly acidic foods like carbonated drinks.

pH BALANCE OF THE BODY

pH (or the power of Hydrogen) balance is essential in the metabolism within the human body. Only four areas of the body need to be acidic: the stomach, the skin, the fluid outside of the blood vessels and the urine. The body's cells cannot function adequately if the pH is not within a narrow range. The rest of the body needs to be slightly alkaline at a pH of 7.3. Below or above this range the natural survival mechanisms of the body continually fighting to balance pH to minimize disease degradation.
Most processed and cooked foods become acidic, so this type of food orientated diet disturbs the body's pH balance. BarleyGold has an alkalinizing effect because of its highly reductive state, (More details at How you Rot & Rust) thus, it is able to help maintain a balanced body fluid pH. Most processed and cooked foods become acidic, so this type of eating logic disturbs the body's pH balance. The hydroxyl combinations with alkaline minerals such as: sodium, potassium, calcium, and magnesium, or the live rich foods reductive potential hydroxyls (OH-) or the Super Dense Nutrition foods like in Breakthru Technology products, help to neutralize acidic materials (H) and thus promote a healthy pH balance.

SEEDS & SPROUTS

Seeds are nature´s best preservation means of nutritional content. However, the concentrated nutrients contained in them are difficult to digest since these are composed of long chain carbohydrates and starch molecules.
It has been theorized literally for thousands of years that to release the maximum nutritional content of the seed, germination must be initiated so that natural enzymes can begin the breakdown of these complex storage structures. Science has proven that the KEY to unlock and release these nutritional compounds into digestible forms is for seeds to have a synchronized germination. Breakthru Technology Germination Enhancement Method (G.E.M.) process proves this theory.

THE IMPORTANCE OF SLEEP

Sleep and rest are important, and too many people already suffer from sleep disorders.
Regular sleep is necessary for survival. Sleep is a dynamic time of healing and growth for people. For example during stages 3 and 4, or slow-wave sleep, growth hormone levels increase and immune function changes. In some studies, sleep deprivation led to a decrease in immune function.
The National Sleep Foundation maintains that eight to nine hours of sleep for adult humans is optimal and that sufficient sleep benefits alertness, memory, problem-solving and overall health, as well as reducing the risk of accidents.
A widely publicized 2003 study performed at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine demonstrated that cognitive performance declines with fewer than eight hours of sleep.
Sleep deprivation can adversely affect brain function. A 2001 Study at Harvard's Medical Institute suggested that sleep deprivation may be linked to more serious diseases, such as heart disease.
Several large studies using nationally representative samples suggest that the obesity epidemic in Europe and the United States, might have as one of its causes a corresponding decrease in the average number of hours that people are sleeping.
The findings suggest that this might be happening because sleep deprivation might be disrupting hormones that regulate glucose metabolism and appetite. The association between sleep deprivation and obesity appears to be strongest in young and middle-age adults.

THE SEED COAT

The seed coat contains over 95% of the colloidal minerals contained in a seed. We now know that whole seed flour, for the human diet, is incredible because it is more nutrient dense. Current processing procedures in the food industry, especially in milling of grains such as flour, lowers nutritional values by the removal of the seed coat. Breakthru Technology mills the complete seed and includes the important nutrients contained in the bran.

THE KEY to unlocking and releasing these nutritional dense compounds into digestible forms is through the synchronized germination of the G.E.M. process, the stabilization of nutrients through the N.S.P. and the milling of the complete seed. This combination results in the benefits listed in the following entry.

TIPS FOR GOOD SLEEP

The following ten tips can help achieve sleep and the benefits it provides. These tips are intended for "typical" adults, but not necessarily for children or persons experiencing medical problems (courtesy: National Sleep Foundation).
-
Maintain a regular bedtime schedule, including weekends.
-
Establish a regular, relaxing bedtime routine (bath, reading or soothing music). Epsom salt baths replenish the magnesium helping relaxmuscles.
-
Keep your bedroom dark, quiet, and cool. Turn off electronics.
-
Sleep on a comfortable mattress and pillows.
-
Use your bedroom only for sleep and s*x.
-
Finish eating at least 2-3 hours before your regular bedtime.
-
Exercise regularly, but not immediately before bedtime.
-
Avoid caffeine (e.g., coffee, tea, soft drinks, chocolate) close to bedtime.
-
Avoid nicotine (e.g., cigarettes, tobacco products). It can lead to poor sleep.
-
Avoid alcohol close to bedtime.

To further enhance the quality of your sleep, clear your room of all electronics and use an energy device that's specifically designed to eliminate electrosmog. Electrosmog...only one hundred years ago there wasn't any, yet now these negative electromagnetic fields influence your body; not enough to make you sick directly but draining your energy. The following are some common sources:

• Overhead power lines;
• Cell phones and cordless phones;
• Appliances (computers, microwaves, iPods, video games);
• Radiation of underground water (storm or sewage pipes, caves or mineral bodies).

WHAT ARE LIVE FOODS

Two types of foods are excluded from the phenomenon of nutritional degradation: SEEDS and ROOTS that are cultivated organically.
Both can produce new plant growth under appropriate conditions and as such, they can be considered LIVE FOODS.
Each has a different conservation time where roots can be stored for months and seeds can last for YEARS without losing their ability to generate new life.
During the last stages of plant development, the mother plant transfers all of its reserves to the next generation in the SEEDS and ROOTS; The seed has the greatest mineral and nutrients wrapped up in a capsule capable of starting life under the right conditions.
